Trekking the Volcanoes
of the Kamchatka Peninsula
Kamchatka
is a unique corner of the Earth which has always attracted travelers
and explorers. It is a far-away land of 160 menacing volcanoes (about
30 of which are active). It is a natural volcanic park with a territory
of 180+ thousand square miles where you may see smoking calderas,
hot geothermal springs, white snow peaks with clouds of smoke above
the crater. It's fast transparent rivers are jumping with salmon,
and are surrounded by huge Kamchatkan bears.
The natural environment of Kamchatka
is unique and diverse. Its landscapes are breathtaking. This sparsely
populated region is still a mysterious and magical land to the people
of Asia. Many of Kamchatka's miracles, including the only Eurasia
Geyser Valley, are out there to be explored by you on our trek.
Welcome to the Land of the Fire and Ice.
